Curtis is an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.  A National Award-Winning Marketer, Award-Winning Author and selected to the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development 40-Under-40 Class of 2020, Curtis brings 15 years of experience working with tribes and tribal programs through economic development, program development and tourism marketing initiatives.  As a former board member of First Nations Community Financial, and former President of the LCO Federal Credit Union, Curtis’ primary mission is empowering tribal memebers and tribal communities to become self-suffucient through entrepreneurship.  Curtis also founded three non-profit organizations focused on empowering community members and youth through sports and family.  A father of two, Kendal and Adel participate in all of the businesses and organizations providing a family-owned environment focused on teaching the intricacies of community development and youth programs.
